About Me
Hello, my name is Mark "Marcus" Mortera. I am a certified Cloud Solutions Architect currently focused on Amazon Web Services platform.
I have over 6 years of experience in customer service both customer-facing and contact center roles, as well as being highly skilled in sales such as cross-selling, upselling, and optimization of existing plans and services, going over and beyond customer satisfaction.
I have managed and led a successful team composed of more than 10 life insurance sales agents in the financial sector, educating our clients about their current life insurance policies and investment strategies. Promoted healthy competitions within the organization to increase productivity and sales within my team. Promoted to Regional Sales Leader and recognized as one of the top-producers in the organization.
I am making a career transition in Cloud Computing coming from my previous role in the financial industry as I find it incredibly exciting. I have always loved the Tech world and it’s always been my dream to be involved in its dynamicity and innovation, and working with Cloud would make this dream fully realized.
